1) The Grand Canyon

Grand Canyon National Park is one of the world's premier natural attractions, attracting about five million visitors per year. The Grand Canyon is part of the Colorado River basin which has developed over the past 70 million years. That's right, no worries about remembering when to set you clock ahead and turn it back because Arizona doesn't believe in that whole daylight savings stuff! Go ahead, roll over and get some more sleep because us Arizonians know how to be leaders and not followers.

Arizona is known for their beautiful sunsets. We have such a expansive and open sky, it really exposes the bright colors above. Due to the dry climate in Arizona, we are able to experience such beauty. Moisture in the air can diffuse the light which would scatter the light. You only get to experience this within 10 to 15 minutes has the sun has gone now, so make sure you are paying attention.

4) Prime Location

No matter where you live in Arizona you are a day trip away from all you would need! If you are in Phoenix, you are pretty much sitting in the middle of the state. Head south a few hours and you can leave the country. That's right, you can be sipping margaritas on the beach at Rocky Point, Mexico. Don't feel safe leaving the country, don't fret, you are only 6 hours away from San Diego. How about snow? Drive a couple hours north to visit Flagstaff and enjoy the cold air and falling snow in the winter. Many other states are near by, so you can have a little adventure and explore their culture. Wherever you are in Arizona, there are plenty of options if you don't mind a little drive.
